Vans Skateboarding Presents : Lizzie. A Short Film by Greg Hunt

To celebrate the release of her new Pro shoe, "The Lizzie", Vans Skateboarding teamed up filmmaker Greg Hunt for a short profile. "Lizzie" provides a more intimate look into who she is beyond the skateboard. Shot on 35mm film and with voiceovers from Tony Hawk, her mom Eva, and others, the piece is a gentle reminder the Lizzie is a rare breed indeed.

With her Vans shoe, Lizzie didn't want to make just a women's shoe, she wanted to provide something for those skateboarders whos needs weren't being met. Vans listened to her, and the result is there most inclusive shoe yet. Featuring sustainable materials, a slimmer profile and a completely redesigned footbed for better board feel, The Lizzies come out of the box ready to skate with no break in time. The shoe also meets Vans VR3 Checkerboard Globe designation, meaning it follows strict footwear material guidelines for all major components and has been designed and engineered to have a reduced carbon footprint compared to Vans’ canvas shoes. So you can feel good about the shoes that feel so good on your feet.

The Lizzie is available at Primary Skateboards in Rosette and Marshmallow White.
